Mom tells a store manager her kids were hungry, but never expected him to do this

Let me first explain what my store manager looks like to most people, he’s 6’3″ so he’s tall and looks very int.imidating, but he’s actually a really nice guy and that’s how I found out what kind of boy he is.

I had only been working at the store for 7 months and this woman walked in with two small children. One was about 2 years old and the other 5 years old. Their mother looked scared, her hair was a mess and she looked like she hadn’t slept in days looking rough. Well, she came up to me and asked to see the store manager, so I called her.

I was working at checkout that day so it was very slow compared to others so I was breathing between customers and heard a woman talking to him. She ran away from her vioIent husband and lived in a neighboring town where she got an apartment with the help of a friend, but she had nothing to eat and asked him for help.

The store manager told her to go fill the cart with food and come to my turn when she was done, and told her to get herself and her kids hot food from the deli. So she left, and after about half an hour it was my turn, I called her again, she appeared and said I was calling her as usual, and then she took out her wallet and paid for the woman’s cart. He then asked me to go to his office and asked him to wait there.

He said he wanted me to help carry things to her car and give him the letter he was writing. So he gave me the letter and I took him to her car. He then gave her the letter he had given me to give her. She started crying and I asked her if she was okay, she gave me the letter.

It was basically a message telling her she was sorry for her situation and if she needed a job to help her survive she could show up in a few days and tell him if she needed babysitting, he had his number on. there to call him and he will help dress her.

Needless to say, she showed up, and she is a very nice person who still works at our store. This is one of the many reasons why I love the store I work at and believe I have the best store manager in the world.
